Username Investment Issues Over 700 Titles To New Land Owners

Real Estate company, Username Investment Limited, is encouraging Kenyan youth to safeguard their future by investing in property.
As part of its growth strategy, the company is keen to tap into the youth market by offering products at affordable prices.
“We are aware of the challenges that still remain, such as access to finance by many potential homeowners, especially low-income groups. One of our aspirations is to ensure that over the next five years, we settle as many youth as possible into home ownership,” said Username Investment CEO, Reuben Kimani.
Speaking during title issuance ceremony held at the Haven-Konza in Kajiado County, Kimani noted the company’s commitment to ensuring that buyers get value for their money.
The company, which today issued about 700 titles to land owners of its various projects says the company is committed to providing Strategic, quality and affordable products and services that create value for all investors.
“This being the second title issuance ceremony this year proves that Username Investment delivers on our promises, built on our foundation of trustworthiness at a time when the property market is ridden with fraud unscrupulous businessmen “he said.
Statistics from the Ministry of Land indicate that there have been about 7,052 cases of property fraud, which has been made worse by unscrupulous businessmen colluding with professionals mandated to ensure no fraud.
The Ministry further highlighted that the scams could be costing the economy Kshs60 billion annually. This is the estimated cash that the government loses in land rates, court cases and lost investment opportunities when disputed land lies idle.
The CEO further encouraged Kenyans to purchase land through reputable property ownership companies.
Kenyans have to also grapple with the rising cost of land mostly caused by speculation, which is making it impossible for many to own property and eventually homes “At Username Investment, we pride ourselves in making land affordable and therefore accessible for Kenyans from all walks of life. We are currently offering our customers a choice of a variety of parcels of land from as low as Kshs179, 000 for an eighth of an acre.” said the CEO.
He also said that the company was committed to providing value-added land, which includes amenities such as borehole, perimeter fence and internal access roads.
Username Investment says it will continue to invest in parcels of land that are affordable, strategic, of value to its clients and play its role in restoring confidence in the process of land ownership in the country.
“By creating secure access to land, Username Investment is playing its role towards Vison 2030’s goals to ensure affordable housing for all Kenyans by 2030. Username Investment is doing its part in ensuring that Kenyans have a chance to build sustainable communities through developments in agriculture, infrastructure and the promotion of equal rights of women, minorities and vulnerable groups,” said Kimani.
